| Is 700hp attainable on 91-93 octane pump gas with a conservative tune? Yes. When I say conservative tune, I mean that I wouldn't want the a/f maxed out just to reach the 700 hp mark. Ideally I would like a nice meaty a/f curve with a lot of midrange. Let's just say for the sake of argument that money is not a factor. What kind of mods would need to be done to acheive 700 ponies and still have a reliable car that can be daily driven? You'll need a big block - 500ci should do it. Turbocharge that. Allow me to clarify what exactly the Z will be used for: Road racing Daily driver in the summer This will NOT be a dyno queen. Considering your level of experience, 700 hp is entirely too much for both of those usages. I've slowly been doing my research and I've compiled a short list of things I assume would be needed, and keep in mind im keeping this as simple as possible without going into detail. Sport 700's MSP manifolds Oversized throttle bodies Oversized intake piping 2.5-3 inch exhaust 850 cc injectors Upgraded pistons, rings, rods, etc. Word on the street is the stock cams are more than adequate. Any thoughts on all of this? Wait, you want 700 rwhp using a VG30DETT and pump gas? Is this a joke?
